FeedSquares for Chrome is updated! (0.9.0)

Good news to the "hardcore" reader users, you can now:
  • Click the unread count on the feed square to mark feed as read!

  • Scroll items to mark as read, please enable the feature in "personalize!" section

  1. Does FeedSquares automatically update itself? I wasn't sure how that works with Chrome extensions.

Thanks for FS - love it. I cannot imagine using a non-web based feed read and love Google Reader, but FS really takes it to an entirely new level!

  2. Hi, the update is automatic. You also force an update immediately by going to Extensions Page, then click "Update Extensions Now".

  3. I am loyal Google Reader user, so this extension is awesome! But I have a small suggestion: when I click an item on the scrollbar at the bottom to view it, the scrollbar itself should "minimize" or something, because right now, the scrollbar is too big and it overlapped the content of the post. Here is the screenshot to show what I mean http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/5882/feedsquaresgooglechrome.png
    Thanks for your great plugin!

You can put your mouse over the main content and use the mousewheel to scroll down, or use the orange scroll bar on the right. You should be able to view the full item after scrolling down.

  5. Hello, again. I would like to report, that it is not very convinient to scroll squares of feeds on netbook (WinXP,Acer 150d), because their spawning positions not optimized for 1024x600 resolution. Thank you.

  6. @Toss Yes, we are aware of that. We will look into it, thanks for the patience!

  7. @Rocket-in-Bottle:
Maybe you misunderstand me :). Of course I can scroll down with my mouse wheels. The main content of the post is the most valuable "real estate" on the screen so it should not be overlapped by any other element, this is just a small usability problem by the way ;)

  9. @sathish, you can click 'reload feeds' if you have added new feed to your Google reader. Or it will appear after chrome restarts.

  10. Thanks for your help in talking about this. Great review! Also turn your attention that it needs to search for mobile software development companies if you need development mobile.
