Update to NewsSquares - Vertical Mode! We have released NewsSquares 1.3.0!  The latest version allows you to view your items vertically. You may go to Options page and enable "Show items vertically" now.

  1. Please release a NewsSquares widget. Please.

  2. I'm using NewsSquares and indicating to my friends.
So, it is because I intend to continue using what I have to give two suggestions:
1 - the option of sending e-mail might as well be in the same window
2 - if I prefer to show vertically, how can I change the window side where the news appear?
    Thanks and see you next!

  3. When you select a story, because the text does not appear?

  4. I'd like to make folders of squares. All food blogs, all tech blogs, all humor, etc.

  5. Folders of Squares! That would be also my suggestion! And also for feedsquares for Android! In Feedsquares for Android, please put the possibility to drag to go to next feed, instead of menu and next! PLEASE!

    Thank you very much!

  6. I need vertical in feedsquares. Where's the feedsquares love?

  7. How do you scroll between the vertical items?

  8. This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.

  9. With Google announcing the end of "iGoogle", NewsSquares should be set to take-off!

A couple of wish list items that I haven't seen mentioned in previous comments: 12/24 hour clock option, and current weather information in a static location under the clock (i.e. set by postal code and click to see forecast, radar, etc.).

  10. While I am at it... I believe that the "+Add" button and menu items (i.e. Mark All as Read, Change Theme, etc.) could be smaller and less intrusive. Maybe even placed in a menu bar at the top / bottom, or through an options dialog menu.

  11. How can I get clicks on squares to open in a new tab? Even with a right-click it opens in both.

  12. Sorry for hi-jacking but there doesn't seem to be a contact link.

Just tried to open News Squares and got the following warning from Chrome....

    "Warning: Something's Not Right Here!

Love the app, so it would be nice to know it's safe. I'm using Chrome for Mac OS X.

  13. @Julian Beach It seems one of the feeds in your subscription contains content from Please go to Google Reader and the same warning should appear. You might want to remove that specific feed. Hope it helps.
